Shipping & Delivery

Shipping within Australia

Shipping is only available within Australia through our online store. We use Australia Post with tracking for most of our flat rate shipping deliveries. Couriers will be used for bulk/heavy items, as well as specific products. A street address will be required, with an authority to leave automatically being chosen. If we cannot deliver to your address we will email you and refund immediately.

All items are checked and carefully packaged before dispatch

How much does shipping cost?

Village Home & Living offer free delivery within a 5 km radius from our store. The final shipping charge for your order will be calculated at checkout. To view the cost of delivery for your order, please add all of the items to your shopping cart and ensure your delivery suburb postcode is correct.

For extremely bulky orders or remote locations, there may be a surcharge. You will be contacted for approval of the additional charges before items are sent. If you are unhappy with the additional charge we will refund your order. 

Village Home & Living has 4 tiers for shipping orders within Australia, this will vary depending on the items that are being purchased.

Tier 1: Shipping for a small item is $10.00 (includes small items such as frames, crystals, jewellery, body & beauty, greeting cards etc) this is generally for 1 item only. However, depending on the size and weight of the items in your cart, it may include more than one item. These items will be shipped via Australia Post, a street address is required and an authority to leave.

Tier 2: The next tier of shipping is $14.95 (includes most homewares, gift and babyware). Please keep in mind if you have multiple items in your cart the final delivery charge for your order will be calculated at checkout. These items will be shipped via Australia Post, a street address is required and an authority to leave.

Tier 3: The next tier of shipping is $24.95 for bulky/large homewares. Please keep in mind if you have multiple items in your cart the final delivery charge for your order will be calculated at checkout. These items will be shipped via Australia Post, a street address is required and an authority to leave.

Tier 4: This tier of shipping is for all the bulky/heavy furniture items and homewares. You will need to email us at sales@villagehomeandliving.com.au or contact us on (03) 9374 4769 to obtain a quote on the delivery fees. These items will be shipped via Australia Post or Courier, a street address is required and an authority to leave.

Village Home & Living also offer free in-store pick up through Click & Collect from our store in Essendon, Vic. Please check our store opening hours prior to collection. You will receive an email or sms once your items are ready to be picked up. Pick up must be made within 2 weeks of purchase. Excludes some furniture items and items sent from partner warehouses (as per item description).

Shipping Overseas

If you wish to make a purchase and have it shipped international please email us at sales@villagehomeandliving.com.au to obtain a quote. Shipments shipped outside Australia may be subject to import duties or sales taxes once the shipment reaches your country. Goods can be detained in customs and fees incurred. Village Home & Living is not responsible for taxes, custom fees or duty charges.

How long will it take to receive my item?

All orders are processed within 3 business days, excluding public holidays and excluding stock being sent from our partner warehouses (this will be noted in the product description). Deliveries can vary from 2 to 7 business days. Please allow up to 10 business days for rural areas. *Please note this is just a guideline and does not take into account delays due to Covid restrictions.
